Details
Panorama is nearly-very-good, but there's one thing I find confusing
and annoying.
When I rearrange the order of thumbnails inside a tab group (in
Panorama view, obviously), the order of the tabs doesn't change in
normal view.
STR:
* enter Panorama view
* create new tab group box
* click on (nearly invisible) white + in bottom left hand corner to
create a new tab
* (now in normal view, w/ one blank tab)
* click on + to get a second blank tab
* click on tab for first blank tab
* load www.gnome.org
* click on tab for the second tab
* load www.kde.org
* switch to panorama view. Thumbnails are in the correct
order (GNOME, then KDE)
* switch thumbnails around, so KDE precedes GNOME
* click on either thumbnail
* now back in normal view. But the tab order is as original
(GNOME on left, KDE on right)
If I rearrange my thumbnails, it's for a good reason, usually to make
tabs easier to find. So I expect the tabs to follow suit. Most of
all it's confusing -- makes me feel like my mental model of how the
user interface operates (in this respect) is missing some crucial
detail.
