User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Right click desktop, Personalize, Window Colour (Along the bottom), Active Title Bar then change the colour of the text to something other then black. While Firefox is Restored the Title Bar is shown using the correct font colour, however when Firefox is maximized it shows the title bar with black font. It does honor text size and if it is bolded though. Other programs which feature Title Bar text don't suffer from this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) Right click desktop 2) Personalize 3) Window Colour (Along the bottom) 4) Active Title Bar 5) change the colour of the text to something other then black Actual Results: Title Bar font is black. Expected Results: Title Bar font matches selected colour. Happens with and without Service Pack 1 (The final version). Also there doesn't seem to be a GUI/Visuals section so I put this under General.

I've noticed this bug also applies to Command Prompt as well as CMD.exe.

Confirmed to still exist on Firefox 5.0 (final/stable)

Also, not sure if I should change Version to match the latest version of Firefox affected or if it should remain as the version the bug was first noticed in. And not sure if Platform x86_64 specifically means the x64 version of Firefox, if it does then I'd change it to the x86 designation.

Still happens with Firefox 6.02 :/ Really annoying not having it use my extra visible, minimally distracting text colour D:

I notice a lot of software fails to properly handle this, this is just a few off the top of my head that don't handle it properly under Windows 7 (That is to say, applications that fail to respect the custom title bar text colour setting): Firefox Notepad Command Prompt CMD.exe Notepad Media Player Classic: Home Cinema Filezilla uTorrent Internet Explorer 9 Windows Media Player Adobe Acrobat Reader Etc. A lot of programs don't handle it properly including a lot of Microsoft products included with Windows 7 (Which is... odd). However some Microsoft software and 3rd party software DO properly respect the text colour setting such as: MSPAINT Huh? I guess not much software properly honors it lol. I did have a look at most/all of my software and all that I tried won't properly display title bar text in the colour I specified except for MSPAINT D:

I updated the report to mention it still happens in every version since 3.6. I haven't tested older versions so can't confirm if it ever worked properly. I also noticed I missed a step when posting how to reproduce it, here is the correct steps to take. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Right click desktop 2) Personalize 3) Window Colour (Along the bottom) 3) Advanced Appearance Settings... (Blue link) 4) Active Title Bar ("Item:" Drop down selection box) 5) change the colour of the text to something other then black Actual Results: Title Bar font is correctly coloured while Firefox is Restored but Title Bar font is incorrectly coloured (black) when Firefox is maximized.
