the gunicorn logs (stdout from gunicorn, i think) are writing out two copies of every access.log entry at INFO priority, in addition to the copy in /var/log/nginx/access.log.  find some way to turn that down to less than INFO and less than DEBUG, so that we don't see it anymore.
This appears to have been resolved by recent updates to server-core.  Will file a new bug if we have trouble in the future.
