Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101207 Thunderbird/3.1.7
Like in "Windows Explorer" once I have multiple items selected I don't need to hole the Shift or Ctrl key to drag all selected items. In the current version of Thunderbird once I have multiple items selected and try to move them to a folder they do not all move if I don't continue to hold the Ctrl or Shift key. What does happen is all the previous selections go away and only the piece of mail I have the cursor on moves.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Shift or Ctrl and with mouse select a few pieces of mail from Inbox
2. release Shift of Ctrl and mail items stay highlighted
3. Choose a highlighted piece of mail, expecting they will all move, and try to move mail to another folder.
Actual Results:
Only the piece of mail selected will move to the folder the mouse is dragging to. And the rest of the mail that was originally highlighted is deselected.
Expected Results:
After selecting multiple pieces of mail by using Shift or Ctrl, without having to continue to hold Shift or Ctrl, I would like to be able to drag the selected group to another folder.
I don't remember having this trouble before version 3 so I don't know if this functionality was designed to be this way. I think the way I've described in "Expected Results" is a little more intuitive but I may just be speaking from a "Windows" centric view.

This works for me (3.1.7, Windows XP). Do you have any extensions installed?

Had an import/export filter add on, once I uninstalled it my problem went away.
Thanks
