Created attachment 505992 [details] fennec flash filepicker screenshot Can we disable the Fennec/Firefox option from the filepicker when launching a flash link from a third party app? (like gmail?) if we're not planning on supporting flash right now, we shouldnt give users the perception they can view it in Fennec. * See screenshot Repro: 1) install fennec android trunk: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Linux armv71; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110121 Firefox/4.0b10pre Fennec/4.0b4pre 2) have another app running that will trigger the filepicker when clicking a flash link (eg. email yourself a video link on youtube, open up gmail app, and click the video link) 3) Clicking the video link (eg. youtube video in gmail), will open the filepicker. Verify Fennec/Firefox is listed as an option to launch it 4) Choose Fennec, and verify the page just loads and tells the user flash needs to be updated, which basically is saying not supported. Expected: - if we're not supporting flash, we should not be a listed app to launch video urls from other app filepickers ActuaL - filepicker will pick up fennec as a supported app to launch the video.
we show youtube just fine when its serving html5 video
