628928 - thunderbird freezes quite often after installing lightning (with 12 davical calenders) and enigmail

I installed lightning and used 6 davical calenders, everything worked fine.
The I added 6 new calenders and installed enigmail. now thunderbird exhausts one core and freezes, if it is minimized, it would not come up, if it was on the desktop, it is useless. must be killed with task manager. It might take 10 minutes or up to two hours, but it is unstable. I don't know, if the davical connections in lighning or enigmail or both case that problem

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.install lighning, use some davical calenders (I can give access to some)
2.install enigmail defaults, sing every outgoing message
3.
Actual Results:  
thunderbird freezes within 10 Minutes to two hours, consumes a complete cpu core

Expected Results:  
run stable or prouce outfut on error

no customisation, German locale, davical 0.9.9 installed last month,
email server is tunneled through putty (has been that way for a year with no problem)

I deactivated enigmail, since then thunderbird is running without problems.
I will monitor this for a few days, but it seems to be enigmail causing the problem.

Latest news: deactivating reduces the problem, but did not fix it.
Thunderbird hanged agein consuming an entire cpu core.
Next step ist deinstallation of enigmail .

Deactivation and uninstalling of add-ons have exactly the same effect.

does problem go away if you also disable calendar?  (I suspect it will, and will want block bug 441710)

Works with tunderbird 5.0 and latest lightning
