Happens since bug 623338 was landed.
Landed temporary workaround:

Keeping open until good solution is found (or this workaround is deemed the correct fix).
Note: these XPCShell tests come from bug 625160 patch 8/8.

They are using fake vendor IDs such as 0xabcd.

Today's failures were caused by my changeset whitelisting only intel/ati/nvidia: as a result, vendor '0xabcd' got blocked.

The workaround I landed consists in whitelisting the fake vendor ids used by the tests. This is harmless at it doesn't collide with real vendor ids anyway.
