630436 - "Undo" history in location bar should be per-tab

Cmd+L, Cmd+Z shows URLs from other tabs.  This is really confusing if I press Cmd+Z one too many times after editing the URL.

The "Undo" history should be per-tab, or only undo my own typing, or something.

The title of this page makes it look like a suggestion for an enhancement, but actually it is a serious bug.

No wonder that this bug was not fixed since it was first reported in Jan/2011.

I suggest to change the bug title. Please take a look at bug 1152968.

Furthermore - the reaction of Firefox to "Undo" at the address bar, got much worse in the recent Firefox versions.

Gingerbread Man, is there any way to accelerate the handling of this issue, such as changing title, add more relevant people to mailing list, etc'.

This is a bug with Importance: Normal, not Enhancement. I think the summary accurately describes what's happening on a technical level, and the description succinctly explains the problem. If someone else thinks they can improve the summary, they can feel free to do so, but I won't touch it.

Sorry, I don't know who might be interested in fixing this. It's in the right place and it's not unconfirmed, so at least there's that. You could maybe try chatting with some developers on IRC [1]. I've never ventured there, so I have no idea what you should expect.

The title should be something like: 

"Undo in address bar does not work!!!"

Only sharp statements will stimulate someone to fix this (very old) bug.
