It works on the Windows version of TB 3. I'm sure a lot of mac users worldwild are missing this ! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. drag a message subject from Thunderbird to the desktop or elsewhere Actual Results: nothing happens = no creation of eml file like on the Windows version Expected Results: eml file
I was unable to find a duplicate. Can you double check Aureliano ? (if you don't find one mark the bug as new).

Yes I have been seen this in various forum: it's a know issue but I don't remember that it exists on bugzilla (and I have find also now with no result): probably because decision is pendig : see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227305#c78 xref bug #227305

I second that emotion. This feature STILL does not work. Neither in Ubuntu, nor in Manjaro (Arch). This is a serious annoyance :)
