630619 - Request Copy for Social Media Promotions

Quick Background:
- We have 3 channels: Facebook, Digg and Reddit.
-Facebook & Digg has more consumer audience while Reddit is a bit of both consumer and developer audience 
- We will need 3 different blurbs for each channel. 
- The campaigns start rolling out as early as next week.
- In addition, we will also need copy for Beta and another set of copy for RC
- The messaging for Beta should be around trying out the beta and providing feedback
- The messaging for RC should be around creating excitement with the upcoming Firefox 4 release
- Both Beta and RC should also encompass the Fast, Fresh and Fun features of Firefox

Here is a breakdown of copy we need for this project and deadlines:
Digg
- Beta: 3 Blurbs for Consumer Audience Deadline: Feb 10
- RC: 3 Blurbs for Consumer Audience Deadline: Feb 23

Facebook
- Beta: 3 Blurbs for Consumer Audience Deadline: (ideally this Thursday) but if not Feb 10 is fine as well
- RC: 3 blurbs for consumer Audience Deadline: Feb 23

Reddit
- Beta: 3 Blurbs: 1 for Consumer Audience, 1 for Developer Audience, 1 that will appeal to consumer and developer Deadline Feb 10
- RC: 3 Blurbs: 1 for Consumer Audience, 1 for Developer Audience, 1 that will appeal to consumer and developer Deadline Feb 23

I will also put together a more detailed brief that I will upload shortly.

Scope has changed--this project will be taking up the slack from the "spread the word" page.

Hey Laura.. Lets start fresh if that's cool with you, to avoid confusion with existing direction on this bug.  I'll close, and please file a new one asap with the list of blurbs you need, initial copy or drafted messaging, and the target audience you want it catered to.  And timing needs.  I'll see if Matej is available to help out.
