Helpers have a lot of repetitive code in helpers right now. If we find a generic way of defining such a helper, it's worth upstreaming this to jingo.
We don't have a way of fixing it handy that wouldn't make it complicated in a different way -- besides, Zamboni uses the same method. Marking WFM for now, and we can revisit this once someone has an epiphany :)
