Opening bug to track any changes needed in repositories as part of the upcoming merging of www.mozilla.com and www.mozilla.org.
Target Milestone: 1.5 → 1.6
Target Milestone: 1.6 → 2.0
Target Milestone: 2.0 → 2.1
A few issues that come to mind:
 - would be nice to have the sites merged in SVN.
 - SVN is a bit of a performance bottlenecks with Mozilla.com alone - with both sites together that problem could be exacerbated.
 - There are wafts of a move to git for mozilla.com in the air...
 - Permissions? Do we need/want to be able to allow some people to have access to some areas of the site and not others?
All major contributors to mozilla.com and mozilla.org should, IMHO, have access to everything, where by contributors I mean ppl like you, pascal, jong, buchanan...

If you take a look at /projects/mozilla.org/branches/hagege/ you'll see mozilla.org content with the very same backend as mozilla.com's one. I've just copied over everything from mozilla.com excluding content pages. Also, I've set style, img and js folders as externals. The only dir that I've changed is includes, as I needed to tweak some prefs to make it work(config.inc.php, added new pageid controller...). I'm gonna be merging changes on mozilla.com/trunk/includes with what I have now.

If there's something I can do to make it even easier, please write in this bug.
Target Milestone: 2.1 → 2.2
Target Milestone: 2.2 → 2.3
Target Milestone: 2.3 → Future
Closing because I'm about to create several new bugs that detail how we're doing this.
