User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 It would be a neat feature to firefox, if there is an option to limit the bandwidth usage to certain extend so that, firefox doesn't choke the entire bandwidth available, an advantage is while on any *nix we could could have smooth network usage with other servers on clients running on the production system, an example of the feature is 'wget --limit-rate=',well the suggested feature could be done with 'tc and iptable' however it requires root privilege, which is quite inconvenient. Reproducible: Always
Could be a nice feature to have but I am not sure if it will not bloat the browser or if there isn't already an add-on on this. Setting enhancement to New in order for others to take your proposal into account.
