We'd like to suggest change if the Spanish US (es_US) translations for few Firefox menus. The suggestions are identified and reviewed by native speakers and in our opinion the following few are really important to update and especially these 3 strings should not be compromised with (as they do not make sense):

(Under Firefox>Preferences>Security), 
1. Current value: "Bloquear sitios informados de ataque" 
=> Suggested value: "Bloquear sitios de ataque reportados", 

2. Current value: "Bloquear sitios informados de falsificación" 
=> Suggested value: "Bloquear sitios de falsificación reportados".

3. Under Firefox>Page Setup 
Reason: the word "portable" doesn't exist)
Current value: "Para documentos portables" 
Suggested value: "Para documentos portátiles". 


4. Under Firefox>Add-on 
Reason: truncation and confusing translation
a. Current value:"Buscar todos los agregados" 
 Suggested value: "Buscar agregados"

b. Current value: "Revisar todos los agregados" is confusing, 
Suggested value: "Explorar todos los agregados".

5. Under Firefox> Page Setup 
Reason: untranslated text
Current value: "US Letter" and "US Legal" are in English, the rest of the paper sizes are translated.

6. Under Firefox>Preferences>Security 
Reason: incorrect translation of "sensitive" under the "Cambiar contraseña maestra" window
Current value: "Una contraseña maestra se usa para proteger información sensitiva como contraseñas de acceso." 
Suggested value: "La contraseña maestra se usa para proteger información confidencial, como las contraseñas de sitios web." 

7. Under Firefox>Preferences>Advanced 
Reason: Incorrect translation of "Clear now" button
Current value: "Limpiar ahora" 
Suggested value: "Borrar ahora"

8. Under Firefox>Show All History > "Asistente de importación" window
Reason: Grammar error 
Current value: "Importar opciones y datos de" 
Suggested value: "Importar opciones y datos" 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open Firefox
2. expand the menus suggested under each issue (e.g. Firefox > Show all history)
Actual Results:

There is no es-US localization for Mozilla Firefox 3.6 (Gecko branch 1.9.2):

Also, we don't use "agregados" for "addons" in es-ES, but "complementos". It is used in es-AR, though. Could you check which locale code are you using? To do so, go to Help -> About in a localized Firefox and check the User-Agent string. It will look similar to the one you have posted at the beginning of this bug description, but replacing en-US with another locale code starting with "es-".

Yes, I'm aware es_US locale is not supported. However these should be negligible differences between es_MX, es_AR and es_CL. 

The locale ver. of our environment is es_MX.
