User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b10) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b10) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b10 If you hit ALT-V, T, B you get the Bookmark toolbar - but B is also assigned to the add-on Bar so you can't reach that without a second B. The key should surely be unique in each menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press ALT-V, T, B, enter 2. 3. Actual Results: The bookmark toolbar is toggled. Expected Results: I wanted to toggle the add-on toolbar. Workround is to add a second B - ALT-V, T, B, B, enter
This should have moved to 'A' in bug 604316. Are you using a localized version?
It's probably British English. I am in the UK and that's what I'm offered now from http://www.mozilla.com/en-GB/firefox/beta/ - but this beta 10 was an update to beta 9. Is there a definitive way to tell? I see that I don't have an en-US dictionary.
Pushing these keys results in this action in Linux: ALT + v = Opens View Menu ALT + B = Opens Bookmarks Menu ALT + T = Opens Tools Menu In order to open the Add-on Bar you have to press CTRL + / Have I understood this bug wrongly?
Updated beta 10 to beta 11 today. The menu letter for addons bar is now A - so fixed in en-gb locale. And ctrl / has appeared - even better! (George: ALT + V /followed by/ B, not ALT + B)
Resolved as per comment #5. (There may be other l10ns that need changing see bug 604316 comment #8 onwards)
