Somehow Google indexed the Wavemetrix add-on, which was very recently uploaded to the site and has just been nominated for review. Since the only access to these pages should be through direct link, Google shouldn't be able to index it. It looks like there are no direct links to this page on other domains: http://www.google.com/search?q=link%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Faddons.mozilla.org%2Fen-US%2Ffirefox%2Faddon%2Fwavemetrix-analyst-search%2F&hl=en
I have just been informed about a direct link to the add-on page, from this bug report: bug 631085. If Google is indexing these links, then I'd say this is INVALID.
If we want to keep Google from indexing such pages, I suggest using an appropriate meta tag for them in the header.
Invalid in its current state then. If you want the meta tag, just let us know.
Sounds like we want a meta tag. -> paulbooker I think there are some constants in amo/__init__.py that will help determine if an add-on should have the tag (or there might be a function off the model). I also think the templates have a way of adding extra headers to the <head> so look for that.
This will be verified in prod
