I found an add-on (see attachment) which wants to show something on the notification bar on first run, but it is only shown for some milliseconds on trunk, it works as expected with Beta 10. The problem only happens if you drag and drop the file into the browser and after confirming the install press the restart button in the popup notification. If you close Firefox and launch it e.g. from the start menu, the notification bar/infobar works as expected.

Not sure if webextensions have access to notification bars at all, but either way this won't be fixed for legacy add-ons and would need more info to be worked on for webextensions.
