Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Change the proxy settings in KDE's system settings application. Actual Results: Changes require a restart of Firefox to take effect. Expected Results: Changes take effect immediately. Changes take effect immediately when using GNOME and changing its global proxy settings. This problem also affects Google Chrome.
