Created attachment 510932 [details] [diff] [review]
patch

Tab detach in fullscreen mode produces rather unexpected and buggy behavior, and it doesn't seem to be especially useful in that mode either.

FWIW, IE 9 beta and Chrome 9 both support fullscreen mode, and both disable tab detach in fullscreen mode.

If the unexpected and buggy behavior is that the new window is opened with sizemode="fullscreen" without filling the screen, that seems like a bug on its own, as this also happens when hitting accel+N while in full-screen mode.

True. Filed bug 632748 for that.

Also, I suppose that, for now, disabling tab detach in full-screen mode might be confusing, given our static tab drag images. When tab drag-and-drop animations land, this might be revisited.

It seems that I was incorrect about IE 9.

Also, after pondering it, I don't think this is a good idea, and it doesn't warrant revisiting.
