We can call it socorro-users.  (I want to leave room for socorro-developers, if we start getting any contributions.)

The -users thing isn't the way we normally name lists. (See https://www.mozilla.org/about/forums/ ). 

If you wanted a users list and a developers list, they would probably be:

mozilla.tools.socorro (developers)
and
mozilla.support.socorro (users)

Which would you like first? If you think traffic will be low at first, you could start using mozilla.tools and mozilla.support.other until the community grew big enough to need its own list.

I was actually thinking after I filed this that we may as well get both created now, saves filing another bug :)

I think we should probably just make one list for now. Having two will just confuse people and split traffic unnecessarily. (We have this problem with the Breakpad lists, where we have -dev and -discuss, and not a lot of traffic, so people get confused.)

I think a "discuss" or "users" group, whatever Laura wants to call it, just to have a place for general chatter. If we pick up enough of a development community that the list actually gets crowded, then it might make sense to have a separate developer list.

+1 to what ted said.  If we can call it "discuss" that sounds better to me than users.  Users sort of implies people who would look at the UI; I'm targeting people who want to install it.

I'd think that mozilla.tools.socorro (tools-socorro@lists.m.o) is what we should create to fit in our Mozilla hierarchies and have a useful name.
