The selection/highlight in the listbox of "Folder" item on the "Add bookmark" (Ctrl+D) dialog can scroll up and down by itself when I navigate by keyboard.
I am using Firefox 4.0 beta 11
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any website
2. Try to add a bookmark by Ctrl+D
3. Go to the "Folder" item (either by mouse/keyboard) and select "Choose..."
4. (If using keyboard, the navigation into the newly created listbox is difficult to do. First, the item highlighted [Unsorted Bookmarks] is actually out of sight. Second problem is related to point 5 below.)
5. Now try to navigate up and down slowly using keyboard, and watch that sometimes the highlight moves up/down opposite to my keyboard direction (down/up).
I have plenty of bookmark folders (~30).
Using mouse do not cause this problem. But it is annoying to see a "self-willed" firefox.

I don't think this is exactly the same as bug 437934. Look at my "steps to reproduce again": my primary concern is at point 5 there, i.e. the cursor/selection can move up and down by itself in the opposite way that the user intended *after* the last keystroke. Try tapping your up/down key fairly slowly but not too slow. Do not hold keyboard also because it would not cause this bug to appear.
Please check if this affect others' firefox as well.

Wirawan, I am unable to reproduce the issue you have presented.
Can you please check it against the latest build available here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
Also please try iy on a clean profile:

I tested 4.0 rc1 today. I found the following:
1) item no. 4 that I reported earlier "the item highlighted [Unsorted Bookmarks] is actually out of sight" is still there. But not a super major problem because once I wiggle the selection using "up" and "down" key the selected item appears on the list box.
2) item no. 5 was still there: if I move selection using the keyboard "up"/"down" slowly (i.e. until content in the the drop-down box captioned "Folder" is synced) then there is no problem. But if I move up/down too fast (don't hold the up/down but rather tap-tap-tap fast enough) without the drop-down box having the chance to sync, then the highlighted item in the list box *will* scroll up/down opposite of direction of the keyboard.

I am still unable to reproduce the issue - item 5.
Item 4, as you said does not represent a problem.

Let me try to reproduce it using a dummy set of bookmarks+folders. I tried only ~10 empty folders and the bug won't reproduce itself either. If it helps, I will provide you with a trimmed down version of my bookmark library.

Wirawan, can you still reproduce this on the release version of Firefox 4?

Wirawan, feel free to reopen if you run into the problem again and you can provide us with steps which will enable us to reproduce the issue.
Thanks!
