I'm attaching a video that demonstrates what happens (sorry about the format, I only had Quicktime available at this location), but essentially this should be reproducible with the following steps:

1. Go to about:config and set browser.urlbar.autoFill to True
2. Open a couple of tabs that have the word "Mozilla" in them
3. Start typing the word "moz" in a blank tab:
   * When typing the first M, completion seems to work as it should
   * When typing the next O, switch-to-tab hijacks the typing, and selects a tab for you, and puts you two characters into the "http://" part
   * Type the next Z, and you get the string "htz" in the URL bar, from overwriting the third character in the earlier displayed URL.

I tried to do this slowly in the attached movie, hopefully it's easier to understand by watching it.

I am pretty certain this didn't happen in earlier betas, but I'm unsure when it started doing this, my guess would be around beta9 or beta10.
