this is possibly resolved by another fix in Flash Player 10,2,152,33 Spicy Hot-Fix. i sampled a few dumps and could find only Salt 10,1,102,64 logs and lower.

if someone can repro in Spicy, please forward me the log and any step or conditions you hit the crash.
4.0b12 correlations by Flash debug identifier give:
         92% (22/24) vs. 16% (283/1756) 0E4F768E4FF090B47387C86A3EC48C430
          8% (2/24) vs. 1% (12/1756) 7C335F75EBDB76FA2F741E584516A12F0
we are tracking the issue internally as #2791456. it is currently under review and currently not assigned a project.

Scoobidiver - would you be able to forward me any Spicy reports? i'd love to close this out if in fact it's resolved indirectly.

Unfortunately, I don't know the matching between Spicy version and debug identifier.
I am able to give you 3.6.13 correlations by Flash debug identifier with more samples than in 4.0b12 (120 instead of 24)(note: all correlations are given for the last day):
     59% (71/120) vs. 42% (1292/3058) FlashPlayer-10.6
         59% (71/120) vs. 37% (1128/3058) 7F846A865E18B6E54DA2E5B46E7CF5B20
the above identifier is of Salt.

Spicy Identifiers would include:

Spicy Hot-Fix 10,2,152,33
250F9398-63FA-8EE0-617E-1D306D5EB9C7 (i386) FlashPlayer-10.6.plugin
9E952D5B-E0C7-A400-FF8D-0D280BE6E399 (i386) FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5

Spicy (Original release)
91A9F4C9-E35F-C25E-987C-8EFF94EB3A44 (i386) FlashPlayer-10.6.plugin
6503529B-EF49-AF40-3E8C-2F741DB38911 (i386) FlashPlayer-10.4-10.5
I didn't find any crash with Spicy version.
But, only 1.3% of all crashes with Flash loaded on Mac OS X (10.4, 10.5, 10.6) has the Spicy version, so it is not enough widespread to conclude that this bug is fixed.
let's mark this one fixed indirectly and monitor for new reports in Spicy.
