The short cut for Tab Groups is Cmd-shift-E. If you have Adblocks Plus installed, Cmd-shift-E brings up Adblock preferences. I'd recommend we choose something else for Tab Groups.
https://www.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=23656 Wladimir is already ahead of you and changed the Adblock Plus shortcut.

(In reply to comment #0) > If you have Adblocks Plus installed, Cmd-shift-E brings up Adblock preferences. Maybe the key handling on OS X is different because on Windows it seems to be the other way round. The Adblock Plus <key> element is added at the end of the document so that the Panorama key always gets precedence. Either way, the problem should be gone once Adblock Plus 1.3.5 is released. Then it will use Control-Shift-E in Firefox 3.x, Control-Shift-F in Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux as well as Command-Shift-O in Firefox 4 on OS X. Yes, it got that bad with the shortcut keys...
Even though both shortcuts were same, before nightly 2011-2-14(or even later) panorama shorcut got preference over add block plus one and Cmd-Shift-E did brought panorama up instead of add block plus. Something might have changed.
Legacy extensions are no longer valid in Firefox 57, closing.
