The current data inserts the .com yahoo mail domain from the ISPDB. Clicking edit and retest fails as the server is com.au Changing domain name to com.au cures the problem
Matt, what is the actual problem here? Can you fetch mails of an @yahoo.com.au account from yahoo.com servers? As far as I know, you can. Yahoo has tons of country domains, we intentionally use only one config for all of them.

I was playing with the new account wizard to create some screen captures, and it would appear that I got it wrong in my initial bug report. I have just re run the process and it is not the ISDB that is at fault, it is the wizard. The second attachment shows the domain is changing when I click retest.
I should add this Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b10pre) Gecko/20110114 Thunderbird/3.3a2
Matt, please answer my questions above.
yes you can. As I pointed out in comment 3 I had it wrong. It is the wizard that is simply changing the working server name as soon as I click retest to something that does not work.

> So the bug is invalid ? yes Many wizard bugs are fixed in another bug.
