Now Mail.Ru search plugin is in the top-right corener search plugins list in Russian localization. It's title is "Поиск@Mail.Ru".
I suggest to change the title to "Mail.Ru: поиск в Интернете", since it would be more clear and intuitive for Russian users.

Steps to Reproduce:
Install Minefield 4.0b12pre or above, look at the top-right corner search providers list.

I think that "поиск в Интернете" part is redundant and "Mail.Ru: поиск в Интернете" title is too long. Usually only name of search provider or domain name is used as search plugin name.
I propose to use just "Mail.ru" for title of Mail.Ru search plugin.

Unfortunately according to our researches, average user does not associate "Mail.Ru" with a search service, since "Mail.Ru" brand stands strongly for Internet e-mail service. Just not to confuse a user, let's somehow mention the "Search" service together with "Mail.Ru". So in Russian we still suggest "Mail.Ru: поиск в Интернете" - it's most obvious title, and we believe that it will give the best user experience.

To spare everybody else the google translate button, Andrew's suggestion is

"Mail.Ru: Search the Web"

I'm with Alexander, the string is really long, much longer than we do commonly. Did you check that we don't end up with a cropped string?

I'm not sure that we really need the brand twice in the UI, provider name and icon, on the other hand, I'm equally unsure how much of a brand the icon makes.

I don't have good suggestions, just wanted to share my thoughts. Seth?

String is not cropped, but IMHO it looks ugly.

I (and Pike per comment 3) don't agree with Andrew's suggestion, so I'm going to wontfix this bug.
Note, that current title of Mail.ru search plugin in Firefox ("Поиск@Mail.Ru") is consistent with title of Mail.ru search plugin in Opera and Internet Explorer (see http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/searchguide/ru-ru/default.mspx). At Chromium title of Mail.ru search plugin is just "@MAIL.RU".
