Some sites, especially on intranets/business sites, do not have favicons. Nevertheless, they might be used daily and are prime candidates to having an app tab. Also, I have sometimes 2 or more app tabs that have the same favicon, e.g. a Facebook fan page I manage and a normal Facebook account.

To be able to set a custom favicon, or custom color on the app tab would make app tabs even easier to use.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Right click app tab
Actual Results:
No menu item "Set custom favicon or color" appears

Expected Results:
It should appear
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: x86 → All
Summary: User should be able to set custom favicons to app tabs → User should be able to customize the appearance of app tabs
Version: unspecified → Trunk
There is and add-on that can help in this case. It colors your tabs (in different ways). Here's the link:

Severity: normal → S3
