Starting in 4.0, when creating a new bug, the statuses appear untranslated. There should be hints or indications in the field-descs.none file about what statuses, resolutions, etc, have to be translated, so the translator can know the strings beforehand and provide a proper translation for the final users.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a bug using a non-english UI
2. Watch the statuses list after creation.

As bug statuses are editable, there is no hardcoded list. You can already find the list of default bug statuses in the documentation, e.g. at http://www.bugzilla.org/docs/4.0/en/html/lifecycle.html

Your comment shows that I'm right, even that you agree, since you have provided the required missing info, but you haven't done in the proper place for any translator can be aware of it, and this bug is not the right place for whoever expects the problem to be solved.

I just ask to provide a hint, reference or call it any way you like, but the result is that there's missing info, and the translator can't figure out until someone comes later and tells him that there are missing strings.

The file already has useful comments, but still basic info is missing, and I don't think it's good to force to have advanced develop knowledge (and imagination) to a translator. The solution is easy, but ignoring it this way, it can even be considered a feature loss compared with previous versions. Please reconsider your decision.

You can look at the ENUM_DEFAULTS constant in Bugzilla/DB.pm for all the default values you need to translate. However, users can customize these values and then would have to translate those customized values themselves.

We could add a comment in field-descs.none.tmpl that people should look there.
