User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11 Build Identifier: Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101123 SeaMonkey/2.0.11 When in composer working on a template, I use cut and paste and the delete key to edit messages. When I hit the delete key sometimes it just keeps on deleting, every thing in the template and all templates in the template subfolder, I have to exit the program as fast as possible and reboot the computer or everything would go away. I have changed keyboards, had the computer checked by a technician for a heavy fee to determine if there are any viruses or malware applications at work....I have been assured that the computer is clean. I use this application everyday for work and it is maddening. I have uninstalled Seamonley completel, downloaded the newest version and reinstalled after rebooting... Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.just use the delete key to edit text while editing a template to post to a server. 2.On average, it happens daily while I work...My job takes about two hours a day. 3.If I am paying attention and can react fast enough, I only lose a few lines,if I;m not fast I lose the whole document and sometimes other documents stored in the subdirectory.. I don't really know how to stop it except by closing the software, although hitting esc has stopped but not consistently
Could you confirm which versions you have seen this problem? Do you really mean composer or message compose? Have you tried creating a new profile to see if it happens in that profile too?
