When trying to log-in to Hotmail, the browser remains inactive when clicking on
the "Sign In" button. Expected result is to send my authentication information
to Hotmail servers for verification and entry. This happens on a number of other
sites (trying going through a complete purchase cycle at www.rightstuf.com)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://www.hotmail.com
2.Type in username and password
3.Click on "Sign in" button

Actual Results:  Nothing happens; the page is static.

Expected Results:  Hotmail should log me in and display my Inbox.

Reporter, in order to access secure sites you have to install PSM (Personal 
Security Manager) from the Debug menu (Debug | Install PSM). At least in Linux 
you have to do so, because PSM is not yet integrated in the nightly builds, but 
on win32 and mac, PSM comes with the nightly builds. Sometimes during this week 
PSM will be enabled in the linux distribution of Mozilla, so you should no 
longer have this problem. In the meantime, please see if installing PSM fixes 
your problem (it should). Otherwise you're running into some other bug with PSM 
on linux that should be fixed when PSM comes bundled in Mozilla.
Hint to install PSM : you need write-access to the dir you're installing it to.

worksforme with 122108 mozilla linux build and iPlanet PSM 1.3. No problems
loggin into hotmail account and reading mail.  Reporter, feel free to reopen if
you still ahve problems after installing PSM.
