Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:2.0b12pre) Gecko/20110216 Firefox/4.0b12pre Steps, assuming you're logged into Twitter: 1. Start typing a tweet 2. Load another page 3. Back Result: my tweet is gone. Neither bfcache nor layout history saved me :(
Is the page bfcached? I assume not. For layout history... it's not saved if the page is no-store, for example. It can also be overridden if the page clears text via script and whatnot. Are any of those things happening here?
Hi Jesse, I have tested this issue on latest Firefox (44.0.2), latest Nightly (47.0a1) build and I could not reproduce it. I have wrote a tweet then loaded another page but when I have returned back the written tweet was there. Firefox: 44.0.2, Build ID: 20160210153822 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0 Firefox: 47.0a1, Build ID: 20160223030304 User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.10; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0 Considering this, I will mark this issue as resolved - worksforme. If you can still reproduce this, feel free to reopen it and provide the requested information. Thanks, Cosmin.
