But that's a different stacktrace. And it's reported in Thundebird in connection with the minimizetotray add-on (which is why the bug was closed as INVALID).

1. Please try safe mode.
2. Please try en-us
3. Please try a mozilla.org binary instead of the ubuntu binary
Note that this could be a fault caused by a kernel driver, those really suck, if you have anything like a VPN client or any non GPL kernel modules, please try not using them for a bit.
One way to test that would be a LiveCD of some other random distribution. You should do this after 1, 2 and 3 fail.

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/
If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme".
It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-)

URL was changes so I can't test,
seems to it works fine.
I don't use Firefox anymore because of a lot of crashes on Linux. I migrated to Chrome.
