The exactly same ASP file is displayed correctly with Netscape 6 final release and also mozilla 0.6 at the URL http://www.world-direct.com/gia/golfclubsoverview.asp If the same file is accessed in a password protected directory (username 'ns6test' and password 'netscape') at http://www.world-direct.com/gia/test/golfclubsoverview.asp there are quotation marks over and over (with Netscape 6 final release and Mozilla 0.6)
Hmmm... It looks fine to me on Win 98 with build 2000122004. Could you please download a recent nightly build from <ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/>, and then let us know if you still see this problem?

Got build 2000122004 and it works :-) Thank you very much. But another bug still exists: http://www.world-direct.com/gia/test/golfclubsoverview.asp The picture on the upper left is linked to a password protected directory. Netscape doesn't prompt the user to enter the access information. When will this problem be fixed?
marking verified using the 2000122904 nightly build on win2k. Markus: i remember seeing the last problem you described in another bug, but i can't remember the bug# at the moment.

do you refer to bug # 63392 ?
this bug had actually to do with the UTF-16 bug ... and this one is still not decided.
