I receive this error every time while trying to sync on 4.0b11. I don't seem to have this issue in Minefield or 3.6. Emailing my about:sync-log to Philipp. If it helps in diagnosing, the sync computer name for my beta profile is called "William's Macbook Beta".

You're probably not. You're seeing the same error message, but the underlying problem is probably completely different. Please file a *new* bug. See https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/ for a detailed how to.

Marking this bug resolved, since I haven't seen this error in a while. It seems to have been fixed by an update to the Services backend or to Firefox.

I've been receiving this error multiple time using Firefox 7.0.1
