635012 - Can occassionally get Error: nextRect is null in AnimatedZoom.js when two finger zooming on Planet

OS: Android 2.2

1. go to planet.mozilla.org
2. while the page is loading do a two finger zoom in (ie move two fingers out from each other) until you max out the zoom in
3. go to the error console

Expected: no errors
Actual:
Error: nextRect is null

1. if you don't get the error message try panning, and zooming from normal zoom out to max zoom.

This issue still occurs on:

Sometimes, when I try to perform a pinch-to-zoom action on news.google.com, it doesn't work, but pages scrolls up/down or text is selected randomly or a context menu is displayed. If I check the Error Console, the following error has lots of entries:

Error: this.browser.fuzzyZoom is not a function

This issue is always reproducible on any webpage if a two fingers tap is performed on the latest Nightly build.
