Steps to reproduce with Firefox 3.6.13:
1. Install SumatraPDF including browser plugin [1]
2. Disable all other PDF plugins
3. Load a PDF document in a tab
Actual result:
The address bar shows the URL of the loaded document, the plugin is however not loaded and the previously loaded page is still displayed. The plugin not being loaded means: there's never even a LoadLibrary call for SumatraPDF's plugin.
Deleting nppdf32.* from Firefox' installation directory's plugins subdirectory fixes this issue.
[1] To install the plugin, download the SumatraPDF installer from
http://blog.kowalczyk.info/software/sumatrapdf/prerelease.html and either
install it or extract npPdfViewer.dll (using any modern ZIP compatible program)
and run "regsvr32 npPdfViewer.dll" to register it.
