User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) I use Firefox rarely when chrome annoys me. with its huge dependence on virtual memory(hard disk speed slowness) so it becomes unworkable, so I open Firefox. Each time I open Firefox I get a funny annoying box witch tells me that Firefox should be updated and restarted. Make an option to install add-ons updates in background automatically. It is annoying to see the update addons window each time I open Firefox. and to mess with it operating it, I asked myself why it can't do all this automatically.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install fire fox, install some addong witch actively developed and updates frequently 2. close firefox waite some time 3. open firefox 4. you will get a window of update addons 5. repeat steps 2 to 3 many times, you will always get the result of step 4 Expected Results: no popup window, updates are installed. or in the menu will be th 'update addons' menu item with a highlighted number of addons that could be updated.

Background addon update added in Firefox 4, please either use the beta: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/beta/ ...or else wait for the final version of Firefox 4 to be released (exact ETA unknown, but approx a month +/-).
