Does it happens in -safe-mode ? (see http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode)
Anything in Tools -> Error console when this happens ?
Ther is no notice in the error console.
In safe mode the problem occurs too!

Ignoring a thread is intended to go to the next unread message as well, and it is this going to the next unread that causes another thread to be expanded. Hence, this is the expected action.

It isn´t The NEXT UNREAD thread but some other earlier thread randomly which is expanded ( and sometimes none)

I marked the last thread (started by "St.Lux") with "K", after that the other thread expanded automatically as seen on the other screenshot

Judging from the last screenshot, it expanded a thread that has at least one unread message in it, so it seems to me that it merely expanded the thread having the "next" unread message ...

Anything new? The problem still exists as I described. It expands NOT the NEXT unread message, but randomly any other thread.
Not a severe problem, but uncomfortable . . .

Hi,
seems to be ok now. The focus jumps now always down to the next unread message, even with different sorting criterias.
