When creating a repeating event for daily events it would be nice to be able to create exceptions, like Mondays. So an event that happens Tue-Fri could be created as a single recurring event, daily, on Every weekday, except Monday, rather than having to create 4 different recurring events.

Already possible. Choose Repeat Custom > Weekly > Tue-Fri.
