A function to add information, comments, files etc. to already stored (and received) emails would be helpful to organize mails paperless. Moreover, this function could be used to use Thunderbird as a small document management software. 

Reproducible: Didn't try



Expected Results:  
Implementation in future versions. Adding a small document management function could help to establish thunderbird in a more paperless environment.
