Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101207 Thunderbird/3.1.7

This problem is still not fixed even though bug fix is supposed to have been completed but only for XP - not Win7

I accessmy mail from AOL and yes it did work before I had to carry out a major rebuild and loaded latest version

Now having to bypass Thunderbird and go directly to AOL to pick up msgs with attachments - what is weird is that some attachments can be picked up by TB

Michael

update

copying an email in Inbox, that has visibly lost the attachment after clicking it, to my Local folder/Inbox, the email PLUS the attachment is moved correctly from the email server ( in this case AOL)

However, this is potentially a no-no because if that copy does not work then the email+attachment has now disappeared from the host email server

No it has been fixed. but no on 3.1.x which you are using today. Can you test with a alpha build from 3.3 (http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/3.3a2/)?
