User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101207 Thunderbird/3.1.7 This problem is still not fixed even though bug fix is supposed to have been completed but only for XP - not Win7 I accessmy mail from AOL and yes it did work before I had to carry out a major rebuild and loaded latest version Now having to bypass Thunderbird and go directly to AOL to pick up msgs with attachments - what is weird is that some attachments can be picked up by TB Michael Reproducible: Always

(which bug makes you think it got fixed)
according to bug report # 579682 it has been fixed on XP but no mention of Win7 Michael
update copying an email in Inbox, that has visibly lost the attachment after clicking it, to my Local folder/Inbox, the email PLUS the attachment is moved correctly from the email server ( in this case AOL) However, this is potentially a no-no because if that copy does not work then the email+attachment has now disappeared from the host email server

just tried the above build and exactly the same basicl problem Michael
