Could you see if the issue occurs with a new, empty profile: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_make-a-new-profile Does closing Firefox, uninstalling Flash via the 'programs and features' control panel, then installing the latest again, help?

You should try to install the latest graphic card driver first. Flash is using hardware acceleration. Why do you think that this is a browser bug ? Is the same flash plugin working with other browsers ?
I've seen a lot of reports about this on forums, maybe something changed on youtube...

You also might try testing with an older version of flash, flash 10.2 was released recently. This might be a new flash player bug. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html
First I've tried new graphic card drivers, but then during installation my computer crashed. I resetted to an earlier system restore point and tried the former flash version 10.1.102.64 (released 11/04/2010). And now it works!!! Thanks a lot to everybody! tilo
