Since we started to get spam in the KB, it would be good to requite a captcha during the registration process. We could also require it for posting a revision, but that would be quite a hassle for localizers.
Before we do this, since it also adds friction to the Ask A Question process, can we get some info on how much spam we're getting? So far I've seen a single spam revision of an article--I don't assume that's everything, but what are the real numbers? CAPTCHAs are moderately effective and very annoying for users. If we're getting one spam revision a day, it seems better to users to just delete those manually.
That's a good point. Some real numbers of the amount of spam would be helpful to justify this.
Yesterday on IRC we decided to wait and see how this goes. There has been only one spam message as far as I can tell.
Let's close this one for now then, and reopen if we indeed want this in the future.
