Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Fennec app
2. Connect to Sync with a valid Sync account.
3. Tap on Details > Sync Now
4. While the Sync is in progress disable Sync
5. Enable Sync again.
6. Exit Fennec app
7. Open Fennec app
8. From Preferences - Sync  tap on Connect.

Expected result:
- Sync Menu will pop up and the Sync code will show up.

Actual result:
- Sync code displays only dots instead of characters in the fields.

sounds like a dupe of bug 636135, which is "if you disable Sync while a sync is
in progress, bad things happen to Sync"
