I want to share my bookmark betwen Home and Work Computer.

On home computer (Windows 7), after account configuration, i receive a message :
- error during Synchronization. 

If i open the message, i see :
- unknown error

If i connect from my work laptop (windows XP), all works right.

It will be helpfull if you can help me

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clic on Sync icon
2.
3. I receive message each time

Ryan, this sounds like an entirely different issue. The original reporter never said anything about "Server incorrectly configured". Please file a new bug for your issue and attach the log (about:sync-log) as well. Thanks!

I believe I am seeing this as well. Maybe 3 days ago, all four PC's that I keep in sync began displaying a bar at the bottom of the screen. It reads "Sync encountered an error wh ile syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action." If I try to do Sync Now it disappears and immediately comes back.

For some reason the sync log appears to stop sometime in 2010. I just checked and sync is enabled in my preferences so I don't know what that's about, possibly a different bug?

Jon, please file your log under a new bug. Most likely you're seeing a different error. Firefox 4 has logs disabled by default; follow instructions here to turn them back on.

I have reconfigured my rsync client with good user and sync key. Now it work very well
