In a non-maximized window of Firefox running on Windows 7 with glass turned on, I have noticed that the border transparency overlay apex changes when the status bar is shown. Some pages are more affected than others, and some are not visibly affected. So far, I haven't been able to figure out any pattern other than Google search results pages are the most likely to trigger this behaviour in a very noticeable way. Any display of the new moving-half-status bar will trigger this apex change in a consistent amount, on a per-page basis. I have attached an image that demonstrates this issue. The photo is two different screenshots. In the first one (far left) the mouse is not hovering over anything. In the second screenshot the mouse (which isn't captured) has a tip that is at the same point as the tip of the large red arrow. The same thing happens for the left and right side of the window, though I didn't capture the right side for simplicity's sake. The transparency overlay on the top portion of the window (above the tab bar) is unaffected by the status bar. I have drawn a 1px red box to highlight the problem area. I have found this to be incredibly distracting as this apex changes every time a page loads or I mouse over a link. This is on the latest nightly and has been happening for a while. I don't remember when it started, but it seems logical that this bug was only exposed when the moving-half-status bar showed up. [1] an example page that reliably reproduces this on my machine: http://www.google.com/search?q=apex&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&client=firefox-a

Similar issues are reported in #633719 and #613606. Maybe this one can be considered a dupe of #633719 despite the fact that all of them seem to reflect the same underlying bug/issue.
