Details

Often it is needed to scroll up to the top of a page. Especially at long pages (e.g. at news sites) the wiping is really painful and time-consuming. An equivalent of the keyboard "home" key as a button would make life easier for people using Firefox Mobile. This page "home" button could be part of the wipe side bar on the right screen side.
two-finger pan up and down will go to top and bottom
If you are looking for the address bar the menu key will bring that up.
As Mark says in comment 1 - two-finger swipe up and down gets you to the top and bottom of a page quickly.
