When I turn off the Menu Bar on Linux the Minefield menu button recently moved from the left side of the screen to the right side and is now inconsistent with the location on Windows.

I believe the change occurred with the 28 February daily. I tried to customize menus but my attempts to move the widget failed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on a menu and turn off the Menu Bar.
Actual Results:  
On Windows a Minefield button appears on the left side of the window, on Ubuntu the button appears on the right side.

Expected Results:  
The button should appear in roughly the same location on Windows and Ubuntu.

BJ, I am unable to reproduce the issue that you have logged. By disabling the menu, the FF button appears in the left upper corner as it does on Windows.

Can you please try this with a clean profile in order to exclude any extension involvement or specific customization that you've made.

A few quick tests:
o A new profile does not show this problem.
o Running in safe mode does not show this problem.
o Running with all extensions disabled does show this problem.

When I get some more time I'll try to figure out how I damaged my profile.

If I recall correctly, I saw something like this when trying to reproduce bug 645578 using Firefox 4 UI Fixer https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-4-ui-fixer/

Old and can't reproduce.
