Between beta 7 and beta 8 the bookmarks button disappeared from the toolbar. This button is shown in Win and Mac. I haven't found the bug that could explain whether this was intentional or not. Steps: 1. Install Fx Beta (8 or higher) with a clean profile Expected: Bookmarks button next to the home button Actual: Bookmarks button not there.

to be clear, when menubar is visible, bookmarks button should NOT be on the toolbars.

If you move the Bookmarks Button to the Tab Bar it stays visible independent of the state of the Menu Bar.

(In reply to comment #3) > If you move the Bookmarks Button to the Tab Bar it stays visible independent of > the state of the Menu Bar. That could most likely be a minor css bug, indeed the rules seem to explicitly privilege the nav-bar (most likely these rules are still handling the not-moveable button). Could you please file it apart since doesn't seem related to the bug reported here?
