Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13

Invoked Main menu / Help / Check for updates.
Corrupt the network packets by any way(e.g. by using AdMuncher), so Firefox will fail the integrity check.
Firefox starts to download the complete installation package.

Press pause in the "Software update" popup - only the "Resume download" option available.
Close the popup - No "Check for updates" option, "Resume downloading Firefox" is instead.
Restart Firefox - it silently decides to continue downloading, asking you no questions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Invoked Main menu / Help / Check for updates.
2. Corrupt the network packets by any way(e.g. by using AdMuncher), so Firefox will fail the integrity check.
3. Firefox starts to download the complete installation package
Actual Results:
There is no way to abort this download.

Press pause in the "Software update" popup - only the "Resume download" option available.
Close the popup - No "Check for updates" option, "Resume downloading Firefox" is instead.
Restart Firefox - it silently decides to continue downloading, asking you no questions.

Expected Results:
1. There MUST be an option to ABORT ABSOLUTELY ANY DOWNLOAD, including update of some suppa-duppa-megacleaver browser too.
2. When user has made a decision, e.g. to pause some download, Firefox must NEVER break this decision.
